Best Lose Weight Fast Diets –Day 1
Today is Day One of my lose weight fast diets …
And I feel terrific. Let me tell you what my plan is.
I will tell you on a regular basis exactly how I am progressing. Of course, I had planned to blog daily, but that just is not going to happen. But, I promise to post regularly.
I’ll tell you what I am eating. How I am feeling. I’ll tell you if I exercised or not. At the end of each month, I’ll tell you if I lost any weight, and how much I loss, if anything.
I want to jump start my diet. Nothing succeeds like excess – excess weight loss that is.
I am starting with a combo liquid diet / detox diet. I used to do a lot of juicing, and fresh organic juice is the very best for us. It tastes great, but it would be a real pain for me to do that now. So, I am using the following products.
Part of my lose weight fast diets – Garden Greens
This is my stash of garden greens products.
I told you I don’t like monotony,so I’ll be trying out several different flavor varieties every day.
You see my little mini-blender in the corner. I like to use this because it mixes the powders well in about 1-2 seconds. You will probably have a few lumps if you mix by hands, and that just tastes yucky,as far as I am concerned.
This is a detox diet for me.
I know that anyone carrying around a bunch of weight has a lot of toxins that their bodies must eliminate. So,I want to do that right away to ease the strain on my body. Detox diets are great when you start any lose weight fast diets.
There’s an interesting article,“Do detox diets offer any health benefits?”
Dr. Michael Picco states:
“Detox diets vary. But the basic premise is to temporarily give up certain foods that are thought to contain “toxins,”such as meat, sugar, certain grains, dairy products and caffeine. Detox diets typically start with fasting followed by a strict diet of raw vegetables, fruit and fruit juices, and water. In addition, some detox diets advocate using herbal laxatives, antioxidants and colon cleansing (enemas) to help “clean”out the intestine and liver. The duration of such regimens often ranges from seven to 10 days.”
You’ll have to decide for yourself if detox diets make you feel better. I know that the answer for me is a resounding “yes”. I just can’t stay on a detox diet for more than a week because I get too hungry, but I feel great during and after the diet.
Now,let’s go back to my quest to lose
100 Pounds in 1 Year
In order to lose 100 pounds in one year, I must lose on average about two pounds a week.
Ideal lose weight fast diets combine eating less and exercising more. We all know that diet combined with exercise is the way to go. You need to cut your caloric consumption and increase your metabolism through exercise. That’s the sure-fire and proven way to lose weight.
I consider any meal plan that permits me to lose two pounds a week or more – to be one of the lose weight fast diets. For the first 3-4 months, I will focus on decreasing the number of calories I ingest. I will concentrate primarily on reducing carbs because starches and sugars are my Achilles heel.
That’s priority number one for me. I’ll increase my exercise later – slowly but surely.
I just want to remind everyone that I am not offering weight loss advice. You should consult your physician for that. What I am doing is writing about my desire to lose weight, and I am telling anyone who chooses to read my blog what I am doing about it. I am not advocating any particular course of action for you. I’m simply telling you what I am doing and how effective my actions are.

Angela,
Diets are interesting. Once your get your mind set determined to do it, and you are certainly doing that by sharing it with all of us, the process seems to take care of itself. One day at a time, you choose to follow the restricted plan, knowing that soon you will reach your goal and then once in awhile give yourself some of those delicious treats. But not for now.

So true, Erica,
I am living a totally different life, right now. I thought my former life was good, but this one is exponentially better. I wake up in the morning ready to workout or exercise. Because of that, I am experiencing the benefits. I have also adopted a long-term time horizon. Previously, whenever I decided it was time to lose weight, I was impatient. I wanted to lose weight yesterday. Now my goal is to get into better shape (physically, emotionally, financially, etc. and the weight will take care of itself). That’s exactly what’s happening because I am committed to the results I want to see, and I am not putting pressure on myself. It will all work out in the end, and I am enjoying the ride.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your insights. You are awesome! Have a great weekend.
Angela
Angela,
Great story. I love the long-term horizon – very healthy plan for your goal.
It’s always interesting how quickly people see results when they get on a healthier routine. You’ve got a 1 year plan, but you’re feeling 1 week or 1 month results.
Good luck in reaching your goal.

Hi, Mike,
Yes, it is working for me, and I love it. I am much healthier now. I’ve lost more than 30 pounds, and I am going strong. Thanks for stopping by.
Angela
This is quite interesting. I have reviewed with my patients the importance of weight loss as this is the best way to correct the physiology behind diabetes type 2. I have recommended raw vegetables and fruit as a way to control caloric intake and provide a number of vitamins. They need a short term plan to help get their weight down in a healthy manner and then a longer term plan to help them maintain the loss. Maintaining weight loss is much harder to do than is the original weight loss. My family and I have joined a 90 day challenge and we are all going down together and am going strong. Working as a team and supporting each other has been extremely helpful. Keep at it. Sybil
Thanks for the thumbs up, Sybil. I know it’s working for me, and I know how tough it can be to stay on the path. Thanks for the encouragement. I plan to live this way for the rest of my life, so I am in it for the long haul. I feel terrific. I will keep you posted.

Angela, truly inspirational…
I love the start of your blog and the video made me hungry. I had to change my diet a couple of years ago. Diabetes, has changed the way I think and shop. Your right about mindset, being the key to loosing weight.
You focus on how well life is, being at that weight you see yourself in. Then believe you have already made it. Then only look for things to see you already there, at that prime weight. Your going to feel and see the difference. Positive thoughts on everything besides, loosing weight. Hey, place a piece of paper over the viewing part of scale. Then write down the weight your going to be. Then act and live as though you are there now. Eat what you want, with the fresh food you have achieved liking. Yet, not thinking about weight.
It works based on your belief. Having the faith to see it as now. Living it and not looking back. Eating, without thinking about if it would increase your weight. Let go of all thoughts, surrounding weight gain. Change your thoughts in edifying those you pass by, who are at the weight you are going to have.
There is nothing about food that makes people gain weight. You keep focusing on weight, and avoiding this or that. You will never achieve loosing weight. The choices you made are smart. Food that is fresh and good is the right choice. No food that have been produced with injections can be good. Organic is the way to go. Then walking around everywhere possible. That is enough exercise your body would require.
Just don’t think about weight. Look at picture of your idea look. Hey, go shopping for the clothes, you will be fitting in. This is all about thinking and living with the empowerment, to manifest all things into being.
Angela, love you site. I know you will make your life full of great achievements. You are inspiring unlimited, people globally. Your living your dream and accomplishing awesome goals.
I know your a great visionary, and feel blessed being part of this amazing edification, of self-change. Your amazing, simply put.
I look forward on your next fantastic post.

Dear William,
Thank you so much for your support. I am glad you love the site, because I plan to keep posting love after I drop this excess weight.
Eating healthy has been the first step, and I am feeling great. Exercising has become a way of life for me now. I don’t overdo it. I take little itty, bitty steps. As a boomer, I know that slow and steady wins the race. So that’s what I am doing, and that is what’s working.
I can’t wait to see how I look and feel in 2-3 months.
Take care.
Angela
Hi Angela,
What a wonderful and inspiring story! You are certainly doing all the right things with your new, organic and nutritious meals and exercise! I imagine you are getting amazing results. It’s so wise to cleanse and detoxify along with your new lifestyle change and raw food intake. Zucchini pasta is one of my favourite dishes. I even eat it with salsa and never have to worry about consuming too many calories! Was even considering purchasing a Spirolli so I could create curly zucchini pasta – still may do so if I can find one that’s easy to use! Wishing you all the best in achieving your goal and I’ll be checking back from time to time to see your inspiring updates! Thanks so much Angela for sharing this with us all! Loren
Thanks, Loren,
So far it is working well for me. I can now fit into outfits that I outgrew long ago, and kept because I knew that I would be able to wear them some day.
I am enjoying eating well, and would you believe it – I purchased a spiralizer a couple of months ago. I’ve been so busy that I haven’t used it yet, but I’ll let you know how it works out.
Thank you for your encouraging words. I’m in it for the long haul this time.

That is an awesome goal to shoot! May you hit in half that time!

Hey, Andy,
Hope springs eternal, and I believe I can make a serious dent in my goal by the end of the year. I am satisfied just losing 1 pound a week. If I do that regularly, I will be happy.
Angela
Angela,
You are certainly an inspiration to those of us who espouse a life style change. Those who think they can continue to eat the way they currently eat are in for a rude awakening. I love people that tell me they eat healthy and don’t need to supplement or cleanse. Our food supply is so compromised it’s frightening.
I think that the cleansing is crucial and it should be done on a regular basis. I am not a proponent of a deprivation cleanse, a nutritional cleanse is far superior. Giving the body the right nutrients helps it to clear the toxins and release the protecting fat, thus, quicker weight loss.
Keep up the great work!

Great suggestion, Rick. Cleansing and detoxing should be a regular component of staying healthy, and eating clean helps us along that path. Thanks for the reminder.

Hello Angela,
Congratulation on your great decision to shed some of them unwanted extra pounds that seem to catch up with all of us!
Personally, a couple of years ago I lost the best part of 60 pounds by just cutting down on carbs and taking a 30 minutes to 45 minutes daily walk. I still keep away from the carbs and have not regained any weight. This for me was the Best Lose Weight Fast method.
I am looking forward to the pleasure of reading about your successes.
Keep the Smiles,
