I’m Angela Arnold, and for the past 30 years, I have been morbidly obese.  I should have gotten serious about finding the best diet to lose weight fast a long ago.  However, I’m at an age now where I can’t put it off any longer.

I want you to watch the following video which explains exactly why losing weight and getting healthier is so very important to me. The video is long – about 15 minutes long, but it tells my story very well. I think you will  agree it is time well-spent.

My lose weight fast blog will allow you to look over my shoulder as I lose weight. I know I don’t look like the poster child for successful weight loss, but I am on my way.

You see, I have already overcome a considerable hurdle. I started out at 251 pounds, and today as I write this “About” page, I weigh in at 224 pounds. I set my goal to lose 20 pounds in 30 days, and I did it. I feel that nothing can stop me now, and I am enjoying sharing my experiences – good and bad – as well as all of my challenges with you.

I am pulling back the curtain, and letting you see everything – the good, the bad, and the ugly.  I have already creating some videos that could be a little embarrassing. I’m huffing and puffing – out of breath – on some exercise machines.  I took to my local swimming pool, and it was not a pretty sight. But I enjoyed myself. I hadn’t permitted myself to be seen in public in a bathing suit in about 30 years. But I did it, and I felt great doing it.

So, here’s the story.

I plan to lose 100 pounds in 1 year. I’m already down 27 pounds (in about 3 months), so I have 73 more pounds and 9 more months to go.  It is a considerable task, but I am going for it.

I’ve tried virtually every diet under the sun, and nothing has ever worked for me.  However, I am more motivated than I have ever been.

I won’t pull any punches. I’ll tell you exactly what I am eating. I’ll detail precisely how I feel.

I get frustrated when I weight myself too frequently. So, hitting the scales once every couple of weeks is about all I can promise.  I also plan to do some serious exercising. I will workout at home or at the gym at least 3-4 times a week. That will be quite an effort for me, but I think I am up to the challenge. I will definitely start with some senior friendly exercises – because I am not as young as I look (that’s a joke).

100 pounds in one year…

I like how that sounds.
